Hi there all my bloggy friends, sharing a little fun Journal page for another Journal Group I belong to over at Roses On My Table. This is "Gertie's Garden" with Gertie and her pet snail "Polly". Just a bit of fun so I can practice more for my True Free Spirit Class over at Tim's Sally ning group. I hope you all have a great and a creative weekend, what ever you do keep it fun!

Tim's Sally ning group and found it to be quite fun and something very different for me. If you know me well you will know that I love learning new things. There is a project for each month and I'm of course playing catch up. I joined the True Free Spirit Group and love it. Here is my "January" True Free Spirit Girl! "Dance Like No One Is Watching".

Thought you might like to meet Chanel and Cherise, my most recent paper dolls. They were a lot of fun to design and they were all hand drawn with the exception of their faces on white heavy duty paper, then then the Zentangles were added. A very slow process but well worth the results. Hope you enjoy them! Have a great a creative weekend, don't forget to "spring" your clocks forward, perhaps spring will be right around the corner:)

Roses on My Table given by the talented Needle Felting Artist Judy Johnson. Later in the week I will post pic's on my other blog of my felted bunny. Before I start new classes I thought I would show you my latest Tags created for the upcoming swap Gypsies and Fortune Tellers at Roses. Have a great creative week!

Now for the fun stuff I created a few ATC's for a current swap coming up and a mixed media journal page that I used as a intro page in the photo album. It was a vintage family pic of relatives which I turned into a "family tree". Quite fun, the leaves of the tree are instant oatmeal, the roots are scrim all scrunched up with matte medium as an adhesive and then painted, then a coat of wax applied. This was fun of the messy kind!
Have a great weekend! I'm off to finish another project and start a couple of new ones, finishing a needle felted bunny and starting a little art doll class over at Paper Whimsey.
