By The Sea, The Mermaids Came With A Message in The Bottle

Just wanted to share a little Summer fun with some Tags I recently created. Don't  you just love Mermaids, Fairies and Angels and all those fantasies with the stories they invoke? I do,  and these Mermaid tags were so colorful and fun to create. Now go and lay on the beach somewhere and enjoy a little sun, perhaps a Mermaid will show up for you too:)

Journal Journey

This is a page from my Journal Journey workbook for April. It is to represent "strong" A little different look for me but I like to try new techniques and experiment. How is your life's journey? Keep creating and doing what you love. Quite a switch I was thinking after spending the day at church working on quilts for the needs in our community and others:)

Sharing Some Postcard Art

Mother's Day
Father's Day
Angels
Today I'm sharing with you my 3 latest Postcard Art creations that were designed for a monthly swap that I participate in. They are fun to create and receive, 5 are sent out for the theme of the month and you receive 5  different ones in return. A good way to practice techniques and enjoy some art. The Mother's Day card was created with an old photo of me taken by my husband years ago with my 2 youngest children the first week home from the hospital. The 2nd one is an old photo of my husband's Great Grandfather who was a Lighthouse Keeper in the mid 1800's, I call this  one Father Time. The last is taken from the  Graphics Fairy  and I added some words and inks, stamps, ect.

Findin' Fun With Atc's

This is my latest set of ATC's for a Swap group that I just finished. The theme is "Around the World" and they were really fun to create. Currently I'm working on some Postcard Art for another swap, some Tags and some more ATC's for a Downton Abby Swap theme, (a really fun theme) if you are a fan for sure:) and some Altered Journals for gifts, a couple of lap size quilts for our church "quilt group" and some UFO's of scrapbooks that are for family members. I guess you could say I have been kind of busy in a good way. Gosh do you think I should take time out for a little chasing of the "dust bunnies" around here and laundry?? I guess so:) lol........ guess I better catch a couple of zzzz's before it is morning. Have a great week and I'll post again soon.

Care For A Cup Of Tea?

Come join us for a cup of tea with Meia and Teia. These are my latest paper dolls for the "Le Papier Doll" Swap I belong to. The challenge was to create 2 Geisha paper dolls and incorporate something from real tea on them. Mine are wearing hats with the tea still in the bag.
