I finally sold my OOAK Valentine's on Etsy, I was so pleased as I was getting ready to give up on them! They are so beautiful and require so much work, now I feel I can plan for next year and start on Easter and my other projects as I'm just getting my feet wet to see where interest lies with buyers. Getting ready to take some classes and work on my doll creations and needle felting art pieces, I guess you could say I like to try many new things! OCD?? Or just an artistic quirk? This gal just wants to have some new fun!

Here are some of my favorite things to create, my paper filigree eggs, a speciality of mine that I have been making for over 30 years and they all were given as gifts, now I'm going to have them for sale,  all OOAK in different sizes on real eggs. This isn't the best pic I have but it will do for now so you can see I actually make somethings! They all come in different settings or little nests. I will have some out for this Easter and will be working on them after I finish a few Valentine creations and the doll that I'm working on in my Cloth and Clay doll group.

HEARTFUL CREATIONS "PRESENTS" A NEW OOAK

My latest creation just posted today, the largest and most intricate piece I have created. This is an Emu Egg with a Victorian design of paper filigree. Each piece of paper is hand cut and twisted and shaped one at a time, then placed on individually by special tweezers after being dipped in a matte art glue, upon drying the the back round is created and then vintage leaves are hand cut from larger leaves, edged in german glass glitter. Upon drying the poinsettias are brushed with glue and hand glittered. Then after drying the back round is brushed with matte glue and more german glass glitter is applied. A piece of vintage tinsel is added to the top and inserted in a hole and glued in place. The bottom has a vintage teardrop pearl added and the poinsettias have clustered centers of tiny vintage pearls. Each one of my ornaments have a vintage/victorian flare with vintage jewelry added. They are OOAK and come hand signed. It requires approximately a week to finish each ornament. This art is generally called quilling which is the Art of paper filigree, to me this is quilling at its Best!
